Table d'Hôte "hosts table" of the Midi Pyrénées
"Table d'hôte" dining at L'Ancienne Bergerie serves to you each evening, a set 4 course meal of culinary delights from south western France, the Basque country and Catalan influences. Seasonal items are chosen & prepared by your hosts, Rebecca and Kevin, starting the evening with a homemade apéritif.
To tempt your palate, we have listed a few "examples" of starters, main course, cheese & dessert. All produce is either locally sourced, grown at l’Ancienne Bergerie or gathered from a plentiful wild harvest close to home.

Lunchtime Table d'hôte is available for pre booked groups during the summer months, enjoyed on the terrace with its open views of the valley. Or, during the chillier months of autumn and winter, make a reservation for dinner with an apéritif, served in the salle de sejour, in front of a cosy wood burner. A unique way to enjoy a birthday, anniversary or just treat yourselves.

Sausages à L'Ancienne BergerieHomemade "Pork, Leek & Apple" sausages for the BBQ | Home cured "Jambon"We raise "Gascon Noir" pigs for the table, they enjoy a care free life on our land, snuffling and digging, relishing the apples and walnuts falling from the trees around them, accompanied by kitchen "slops" and organic pellets to keep a balanced diet. We prepare the charcuterie in the traditional manner, taking several months, care and attention. The delicious result is served to you at the table. |
